Our Objectives
Supporting DNT and NT Communities: We work closely with Denotified Tribes (DNT) and Nomadic Tribes (NT) communities, which often face challenges in accessing basic services and opportunities. These communities are at a high risk of exploitation and marginalization, and our aim is to provide them with the support they need to thrive.
Strengthening the Educational System: We collaborate with government authorities to strengthen the educational system, particularly in addressing the high rates of migration among communities such as Banjara, Kahar, Bairwa, Jogi, and Kalbeliya. Migration often leads to disruptions in education, health, and livelihoods, especially for children who are forced into child labor without continuing their education.
Community Development: Our activities focus on institution building, creating sustainable community structures that can support long-term development initiatives. We also emphasize capacity building, providing training and skills development opportunities to empower individuals and communities to take charge of their own development.
Networking and Advocacy: Networking and advocacy are integral parts of our work. We strive to raise awareness about the issues facing underprivileged communities and advocate for their rights and needs at various levels. This includes engaging with policymakers, local authorities, and the community itself to bring about positive change.
Continuous Learning and Improvement: We place a strong emphasis on continuous process documentation, ensuring that we learn from our experiences and improve our strategies over time. This allows us to adapt to changing circumstances and ensure that our interventions are effective and sustainable.
